Job summary

ScienTec Consulting Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced Senior Identity & Endpoint Security Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise identity and endpoint security solutions within a large-scale Microsoft 365 environment.

This role focuses on Zero Trust security, identity governance, endpoint protection, automation, and cloud security. This contract position runs for 2 years with renewable options and potential conversion to permanent staff.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in infrastructure, endpoint security, and identity access management.
• Proven experience administering Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory in enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender Suite, Microsoft Purview, CA, PIM, Identity Protection, MFA, and DLP.
• Experience implementing Zero Trust security principles and identity governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and administer enterprise identity solutions using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory.
• Manage identity lifecycle processes, Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Identity Protection, MFA, and passwordless authentication.
• Engineer, deploy and maintain Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, and endpoint security solutions.
• Implement and manage Microsoft Purview including DLP, Information Protection, Classification, and eDiscovery.
• Develop automation scripts and workflows using PowerShell, Python, Bash, and Graph API.
• Build dashboards using Power BI, KQL, Endpoint Analytics, Dynatrace, and Axonius.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Identity & Endpoint Security Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise identity and endpoint security solutions within a large-scale Microsoft 365 environment. This role focuses on Zero Trust security, identity governance, endpoint protection, automation, and cloud security, ensuring users, devices, and applications remain secure and compliant.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement and administer enterprise identity solutions using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory.
• Manage identity lifecycle processes, Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Identity Protection, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and passwordless authentication.
• Engineer, deploy and maintain Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Defender for Office 365, and endpoint security solutions to strengthen the organisation's security posture.
• Implement and manage Microsoft Purview, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Protection, Data Classification, and eDiscovery.
• Develop automation scripts and workflows using PowerShell, Python, Bash, and Microsoft Graph API to streamline identity management, security operations, and reporting.
• Build dashboards and reporting capabilities using tools such as Power BI, Kusto Query Language (KQL), Endpoint Analytics, Dynatrace, and Axonius.
• Develop self-service solutions to improve user experience and reduce operational support effort.
• Work closely with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to investigate security incidents, remediate vulnerabilities, and implement security improvements.
• Translate business requirements into secure and scalable infrastructure solutions that meet availability, security, resilience, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure infrastructure and security solutions comply with organisational IT governance and security policies.
• Manage infrastructure enhancement initiatives, vendor engagements, maintenance contracts, and project deliverables.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver enterprise infrastructure and security services.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor team members on identity, endpoint security, and Microsoft security best practices.
