A leading organization is seeking a Digital Solutions and IT Project Specialist to drive digital transformation efforts. Role
We are seeking a Digital Solutions and IT Project Specialist to lead our organisation’s digital transformation efforts and ensure our IT infrastructure is secure, efficient, and aligned with the organisation’s mission.
As a key member of our team, you will drive strategic digital initiatives, manage IT systems and projects, develop robust cybersecurity measures, and help the organisation deliver greater impact through technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Strategy & Innovation
• Develop and execute digital strategies to support organisational goals and community impact.
• Identify and lead digital transformation opportunities across departments and programmes.
Project Management
• Manage end-to-end digital projects such as CRM implementation, website upgrades, donor engagement platforms, and internal systems.
• Oversee project plans, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communication to ensure successful delivery.
IT Governance & Policy Development
• Draft, implement, and maintain IT policies, SOPs, and standards related to system usage, data privacy, and procurement.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. PDPA) and internal governance frameworks.
Cybersecurity Implementation
• Develop and implement cybersecurity protocols to safeguard organisational data and systems.
• Conduct risk assessments, manage incident response, and train staff on cybersecurity best practices.
• Lead initiatives to build a culture of digital safety and awareness.
Systems Implementation & Support
• Lead the rollout and maintenance of digital tools, systems, and platforms.
• Provide IT support and manage relationships with vendors and service providers.
Data Management & Insights
• Promote ethical data use and improve data governance across the organisation.
Capacity Building, Training and Support
• Build digital literacy among staff through ongoing training, workshops, and support.
• Encourage responsible use of digital tools and foster innovation across teams.
Day-to-Day IT Support
Ensuring smooth daily IT operations by:
• Providing first-line technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining IT equipment.
• Managing user accounts, system access, and permissions.
• Troubleshooting and resolving incidents efficiently.
• Performing system checks, backups, and updates.
• Supporting AV and virtual meeting platforms.
• Coordinating with external vendors for escalated issues.
• Maintaining IT asset inventory and documentation.
Requirements:
• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Business IT, or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in IT project management, digital solutions, and/or cybersecurity - preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of IT systems, cybersecurity frameworks, and digital tools (e.g. CRM, CMS, Microsoft 365 architect and integrations, cloud platforms).
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra, Intune and Defender suite and others.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A passion for social impact and a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
