Job description

As a Digital Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing end-to-end change requests (CRs) and portfolios.

Project Management:

  • Effectively manage pipeline to balance demand and supply.
  • Optimize boat-size utilization aligned with business value.
  • Provide timely and high-quality reporting/management of CR lifecycle including backlog, status, resource, financials, risks, and dependencies.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues, bottlenecks, and conflicts within boat-size portfolio management process, utilizing critical thinking and judgment.
  • Coordinate activities across multiple internal and external teams to ensure smooth execution and adherence to project timelines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation including status reports, project plans, budget allocations, and other relevant artifacts.
Budget Management:
  • Ensure accurate and timely tracking of all approval and CR billings to respective boat-size countries and groups.
  • Proficiently analyze financial data and make informed decisions based on budget constraints.
  • Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure adherence to agreed allocation principles.
Pipeline and Delivery Management:
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of boat-size portfolio within digital initiatives, ensuring effective project delivery from initiation to closure.
  • Maintain centralized tracking of boat-size delivery covering backlog, status, resources, finances, risks, and dependencies.
  • Ensure budget utilization for boat-size CRs remains within regional and quarterly allocations.
  • Monitor resource utilization trends for boat-size CRs.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks within boat-size portfolio projects, proactively addressing potential issues and implementing timely mitigation/escalation strategies.
  • Track project issue aging and performance of boat-size CRs, ensuring timely closure.
Frameworks, Process Assurance, Risk Management:
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders (Business/Product Owner, Program/Project Managers, Technical Delivery Managers, SDM team) to review and propose refinements to working methods and associated SDM deliverables, optimizing Agile vs Waterfall frameworks.
  • Track and manage Risk Appetite statement performance, MRAs, and Audits.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated expertise in project/program management and technical delivery.
  • Outstanding abilities in client interaction and internal communication.
  • Track record of involvement in Digital transformation initiatives.
  • Proficiency in agile methodologies and utilization of project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Trello, and Asana.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adept at conveying intricate information clearly and succinctly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Robust problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with a knack for critical thinking and proposing inventive solutions.
  • Capacity to handle multiple priorities concurrently and excel under pressure within tight timelines.
