Digital Project Lead – IT Infrastructure, Industrial Integration & Telephony (Pharma / Manufacturing)

12 Months Contract

Location: Tuas

Up to $9,800 depending on experience

Our client aims at creating a new manufacturing concept consisting of a new generation of evolutive multi-product facilities, modular, adaptable, and agile, leveraging new disruptive technologies, to better address vaccine business challenges.

Job Purpose
  • To lead and support the deployment of site-level digital initiatives, specifically focusing on digital infrastructure rollout, integration of industrial equipment into digital networks, and telephony system projects.
  • Play a key role in reinforcing project management practices, aligning cross-functional project scopes, and ensuring timely and high-quality delivery in a GxP-regulated pharmaceutical environment.
Responsibilities
Digital & Infrastructure Project Management
  • Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of site-wide digital infrastructure deployments (e.g., network systems, server installations, connectivity).
  • Oversee and coordinate the integration of industrial equipment (e.g., sensors, PLCs, manufacturing devices) into the plant’s digital network and IT/OT infrastructure.
  • Lead the deployment and migration of telephony systems (VoIP, Unified Communications) in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Ensure all digital initiatives are aligned with corporate IT architecture and security standards.
Governance & Execution
  • Establish and manage effective project governance, scope control, resource planning, and risk management processes.
  • Maintain project documentation, dashboards, and reporting tools to ensure visibility and alignment across teams.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks; escalate critical issues with actionable recommendations.
Tools & Methodology
  • Apply project management best practices using frameworks such as PMP, Agile, or Scaled Agile methodologies.
  • Utilize digital PM tools for tracking progress, resource allocation, and stakeholder communications.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in managing digital infrastructure deployments (e.g., IT networks, server rooms, connectivity setups) in industrial environments.
  • Experience in integrating industrial/manufacturing equipment with digital networks (IT/OT convergence).
  • Experience managing telephony projects, including VoIP systems, unified communication tools, and hardware rollouts.
  • Project Management Certification: PMP, Agile, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with MES, SAP, or other enterprise application deployment in a regulated environment
  • Industry experience in Pharma, Life Sciences, or Manufacturing with understanding of GxP compliance and validation.
  • Excellent communication skills – ability to prepare business cases, deliver executive presentations, and align diverse stakeholders.
