This is a 6-months contract role.
Responsibilities:
- Platform & Hosting Support:
Provide technical support for the Xpress CMS platform, managing deployment pipelines, environment configurations, and hosting infrastructure (Test, Acceptance, Production). - Environment & DevOps Management:
Maintain containerized environments using Kubernetes and Docker. Support CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, including branching, packaging, and deployment strategies. - Monitoring & Quality:
Ensure code and system quality using tools such as New Relic, SonarQube, and OWASP security checks. - Privacy & Security Oversight:
Implement and maintain privacy and cookie compliance tools such as Cookie Consent and Privacy & Cookie Pro. Ensure GDPR and OWASP top 10 standards are upheld across platforms. - Domain Management:
Manage the full lifecycle of brand domains (registration, renewal, configuration), and consult business units on domain strategy and security best practices. - Service Delivery & Vendor Management:
Coordinate with external vendors and agencies to uphold SLAs and ensure timely resolution of platform-related issues. - Consultation & Troubleshooting:
Act as a technical consultant to internal teams, diagnosing hosting-related issues and advising on performance optimization, WAF/CDN configuration, and backend impacts.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in platform/website support or infrastructure operations.
- Strong knowledge of cloud services, Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) models, and web hosting technologies.
- Hands-on experience with: Kubernetes, Docker, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, packaging strategies, New Relic, SonarQube, OWASP, CDNs, shared storage, and backend hosting environments.
- Understanding of web performance concepts including SEO, WAF, CDN, caching, etc.
- Familiar with GDPR, cookie compliance, and domain management.
- Strong service delivery and vendor coordination experience
- Able to translate technical issues into business impact and vice versa.
