Job description

WFA (World federation of advertisers) study revealed that 82% of the marketers surveyed from 34 countries agreed that creativity is marketing’s super-power.

However, only 28% said they saw creativity as ‘business critical.’ WHY?

The WFA report found that the biggest barrier is having a risk-averse culture. Advertisers want to be creative, but they also don’t want to get in trouble for being too out there. So they just end up doing what everyone else is doing and a downward spiral of creativity – and effectiveness – follows.

We had a great conversation with our client, a creative production house in Singapore, around how to balance creativity and marketing effectiveness.

When they look for someone who joins their team, they always want to know if they have this appreciation of the current need to be different and at the same time business relevant.

They created this new role, Digital Marketing Strategist as they are looking to welcome a newbie who will support them to promote the amazing work they do for a broad portfolio of customers who believe in creative ideas.

This role is an opportunity for you to bridge the best of both worlds, Marketing and Creative with your data driven approach to support your ideas. Because indeed, data is one of the tool to explain your WHY and convince to believe in your idea.

You will be surrounded by highly talented individuals who will train you to be a resourceful professional to come up with marketing campaigns across different social media platforms. You need to have the foundations of different digital marketing and social media tools (SEO, Google Analytics, YouTube, …). You have created and managed efficiency of EDM campaigns to deliver best messaging to B2B audience.

You will work directly with the co-founders who are truly passionate and appreciate individuals who share the same passion for delivering marketing outcomes without compromising creativity.
