A leading Nordic seating brand seeks a Retail Manager in Singapore to oversee online and offline operations. This role focuses on driving sales, enhancing customer experience, and developing marketing strategies. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in retail management, a passion for design, and skills in digital marketing.
Job Summary:
The Retail Manager will oversee both online and offline retail operations for a premium Nordic imported seating brand in Singapore. This role is responsible for driving sales, enhancing customer experience, and executing marketing strategies to strengthen brand presence across all channels. The ideal candidate will combine strong commercial acumen with a passion for design-led furniture and omnichannel retail excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Retail Operations Management:
Lead day-to-day operations of physical showrooms and e-commerce platforms, ensuring seamless O2O customer journeys.
Optimize inventory, merchandising, and logistics to meet sales targets and maintain brand standards.
Train and mentor retail staff to deliver exceptional service aligned with Nordic design ethos.
2. Digital and Offline Sales & Business Development:
Develop strategies to grow B2C sales across online (website, marketplaces) and offline (showroom, pop-ups) channels.
Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for revenue growth.
Build relationships with offline retailers in SEA including occasional business trips within the region.
3. Marketing & Branding:
Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, social media, email) alongside offline initiatives (events, collaborations).
Collaborate with regional teams to localize global marketing materials and ensure consistent brand messaging.
Manage PR efforts, influencer/KOL partnerships, and community engagement to elevate brand awareness.
4. Customer Experience:
Implement CRM strategies to enhance loyalty and retention.
Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly, maintaining high satisfaction standards.
5. Performance Tracking:
Monitor KPIs (conversion rates, AOV, traffic) and prepare regular reports for senior management.
Utilize analytics tools (Google Analytics, Shopify, etc.) to refine strategies.
6. Other tasks
Assistant B2B colleague for mockup and customer’s showroom visit.
Requirements:
Experience:
3+ years in retail management, preferably in luxury furniture, interior design, or lifestyle brands.
With knowledge of omnichannel sales and e-commerce, with Shopify experience is a plus.
Experience with Nordic or European design brands is a plus.
Skills:
Strong management on Vendors.
Expertise in digital marketing (SEO, paid ads, social media) and CRM tools is a plus.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or retail analytics software.
Both good at English and Mandarin.
