Digital Engineering Manager - Contract

Currently, we are seeking a Digital Consulting Manager with 5 to 8 years of related experience in Digital Engineering and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) domain.

A strong background in consulting, system integration, and hands-on experience in product development is required. This role demands a professional who delivers transformative solutions, supports Digital Engineering & PLM Lead in project delivery, business development, and mentors junior colleagues. The primary industry focus will be on Semiconductor, Automotive, MedTech, Industrial, and Battery industries.

What you need to do:

1. Advise clients on PLM strategies to drive digital transformation in Digital Engineering, product development, manufacturing, supply chain, and services.
2. Assess current client product development processes and recommend improvements using Digital Engineering, PLM, Digital Twin, and Digital Thread technologies.
3. Lead the implementation and optimization of Digital Engineering & PLM solutions for clients across various industries.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional client and vendor teams to design and deliver business processes and PLM solutions that align with client business goals.
5. Manage stakeholder relationships, oversee project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
6. Provide functional system solutions for PLM/ALM/MES systems.
7. Support the sales process by identifying opportunities, origination, contributing to proposals, and participating in client presentations.
8. Act as an advocate of Product Lifecycle Management best practices, methods, and processes.
9. Develop test plans to ensure that the developed solution satisfies client requirements.
10. Stay up to date on PLM technology trends, innovations, and best practices to continuously enhance solutions offered to clients.
11. Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in delivering Digital transformations in the areas of Digital Engineering & PLM domain.
2. Should have delivered 2-3 end-to-end implementations in any one PLM package (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault Systems 3DExperience, PTC Windchill, ARAS, SAP PLM) with domain experience (at least one of these) in Lifesciences, Consumer Goods & Services (CG&S), Automotive, Industrial Equipment, Med-Tech, Aerospace & Defense, Hi-Tech manufacturing.
3. Good understanding of emerging architectural design patterns, frameworks, and methodologies in architecting PLM architecture.
4. Experienced in PLM, Process Excellence, Functional Solutioning, Solution designing, Data Governance, Digital Transformations, and shaping end-to-end Engineering Transformations.
5. Should have worked in business development activity, proposal development, business cases, running campaigns, and team management.
6. Should have experience in writing functional specifications and testing new functionalities, providing user training, and conducting workshops for business.
7. Aware of best practices in PLM & Digital Engineering domain and understanding of integrating PLM with cloud.
8. Experienced in working with large teams, multi-stakeholder environments, and complex digital project engagements with preferred global exposure.
9. Effective communication, presentation, problem-solving, and organizational skills to nurture and inspire team members.
