As a DISE, you will be part of a professional team that builds, operates and maintains cutting-edge digital systems and infrastructure from secure data centres and hybrid cloud environments to advanced network, communications and sensor systems for the SAF.

You will be part of a dynamic engineering force transforming our digital ecosystem by integrating cloud-native technologies, data centre infrastructure, network operations, sensor platforms and next-generation communications and networks that enable our forces to be digitally connected and mission-capable at all times.

What you would do

• Maintain Operational Readiness: Uphold the operational standards in proactive monitoring, system enhancement, preventive maintenance and service recovery across hybrid cloud environments, IT systems, network connectivity and data centre infrastructures. Thereby, ensuring high availability, performance and cyber compliance for system reliability and scalability.
• Enable our Cloud Engineering Backbone: Build and operate secure, high-availability systems across cloud, edge, and data centre environments. You will manage platform services, dynamically manage digital resources and orchestrate our hybrid cloud to support mission-critical cloud workloads for defence.
• Integrate Emerging Network & Communications: Support system deployment, network enhancements, and optimise network and communications technologies such as cellular systems, satellite communication systems and software-defined networking to ensure seamless connectivity between platforms and systems in our operational environments.
• Sustain and Operate Advanced Sensor Systems: Operate and Sustain cutting-edge sensor systems to give SAF the cutting edge across our full spectrum of operations.
• Bridge Operations and Innovation: Collaborate with users, R&D partners, and industry leaders to prototype and implement new engineering solutions in the digital domain.
