A prominent healthcare institution in Singapore is seeking a professional to assist dietitians in managing patient nutrition, conduct community workshops, and perform nutritional analysis. Candidates should have a diploma in Food Science and Nutrition, with relevant experience in healthcare or the food and beverage industry being preferred. This role is critical in ensuring the nutritional standards and safety of meals served to patients.
Responsibilities
Assists dietitians in the nutritional management of patients referred to the Dietetics Department by gathering patient information for nutritional assessment, communicating accurate basic food and nutrition information and review less complex patients in inpatient setting.
Conduct basic nutrition related talks/ workshops
Participate in nutrition education activities for the community
Perform nutritional analysis of diets, recipes and menus accurately and independently
May work with Food Services department to ensure correct and quality meals are served in accordance to the nutrition guidelines for patient safety
Requirements
Diploma in Food Science and Nutrition or other related Nutrition and Food Science qualifications
Relevant working experience in healthcare or food & beverage industry preferred
