Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a dialysis nurse to assist with haemodialysis treatments and patient care in a clinical setting.

The role requires maintaining equipment, adhering to safety and infection-control procedures, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver consistent care. You will monitor patients’ vital signs, report abnormalities, and support doctors during assessments and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean, maintain and store haemodialysis equipment in accordance with established safety and infection-control procedures.
• Ensure that dialysis supplies and equipment are adequately stocked, available and ready for use.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic and safe environment within the dialysis centre.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver haemodialysis treatments in accordance with clinical protocols.
• Perform needling of arteriovenous (AV) fistulas and AV grafts for haemodialysis access, within the scope of clinical competency and authorisation.
• Check dialysis machines and related equipment before, during and after each treatment to ensure they are safe and fully functional.
• Clean and disinfect dialysis machine surfaces, worktables and dialysis chairs after each use, following infection-prevention procedures.
• Monitor and document patients’ vital signs throughout treatment and promptly report abnormalities to the nurse in charge or attending doctor, as appropriate.
• Assist doctors and other healthcare professionals during patient assessments, examinations and treatment procedures.
• Perform other reasonable nursing-related duties as assigned by the Head Nurse.
