What you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the technical direction and execution of DFT activities, including boundary scan, MBIST, test logic insertion, and JTAG implementation.
  • Driving the development and optimization of scan ATPG and compression methodologies to improve test coverage and efficiency.
  • Guiding post-gate simulation and DFT verification processes to ensure design integrity and robustness.
  • Defining and reviewing DFT constraints to enable effective and efficient testing strategies.
  • Overseeing test pattern generation and collaborating with test teams to support ATE bring-up and debug.
  • Leveraging EDA tools such as Tessent to refine and enhance test flows.
  • Serving as the technical point of contact across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on DFT requirements, constraints, and delivery milestones.
  • Mentoring junior engineers on DFT techniques and best practices, and conducting technical reviews to uphold quality standards.

What will help you succeed:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in DFT design and implementation.
  • Strong proficiency with synthesis tools (e.g., Genus, Design Compiler).
  • Demonstrated experience in collaborating with RTL and physical design teams to drive test strategy and execution.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve timing, area, or congestion issues related to DFT insertion.
  • Strong sense of ownership, with a detail-oriented and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
