Job summary

Black Duck Software, Inc. seeks a delivery-focused solutions engineer to lead implementation of Black Duck security solutions in Singapore and across Asia. You will design practical, customer-ready approaches that integrate with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring measurable security outcomes.

You will advise on secure development practices, help accelerate adoption, and collaborate with account teams to realize value from deployments while communicating in English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Understanding of application security concepts, software vulnerabilities, or secure development practices.
• Hands-on software development experience in Java, C/C++, C#, or a comparable language.
• Scripting ability with Python, Bash, PowerShell, Perl, or similar automation tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps tooling, and modern software delivery workflows.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise IT infrastructure and cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP; Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues methodically.
• Clear communication with technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Fluent English and Mandarin required for customer focus across Asia.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and adoption activities for Black Duck solutions across customers.
• Design customer-ready solutions: goals, environments, success criteria, and secure development needs.
• Deliver end-to-end implementations: plan, configure, validate, and complete work with stakeholders aligned.
• Integrate solutions into SDLC, CI/CD, and DevOps environments for daily security practices.
• Advise on secure development practices, vulnerability management, and operational efficiency.
• Enable adoption and customer value: guide decisions and support adoption plans.
• Partner with account teams and provide delivery insight for additional value opportunities.
