Job description

We are currently looking to hire a DevSecOps Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to expand your skill set, achieve job satisfaction, and work-life balance. More details below.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer with expertise in managing large-scale container environments using orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, Tanzu, Docker Swarm, or similar. The candidate should have a good understanding of microservices management with Kubernetes, containerization technology, and experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or Jenkins. Good networking skills in VLAN, switching, routing, and full-stack development experience are also required. Additionally, familiarity with Linux OS, Python, and Bash scripting is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Microservices Architecture: Deploy and manage microservices to ensure high availability and scalability.
2. Containerization & Kubernetes: Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker and manage orchestration with Kubernetes.
3. CI/CD Pipeline Management: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot GitLab CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
4. Python & Bash Scripting: Write and maintain Python and Bash scripts for automation, deployment, and troubleshooting.
5. Troubleshooting & Monitoring: Monitor systems proactively, perform root cause analysis, and ensure platform reliability.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with other teams on various tasks as required.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Design, deploy, and maintain highly available, fault-tolerant infrastructure ensuring maximum uptime in distributed production environments.
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Experience with applications such as RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Flink, Spark (optional).
• Basic knowledge of Linux-based OS for server management and scripting.
• Python, Bash, and PowerShell scripting skills for automation and server management.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure (optional).
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills within distributed systems.
