Job summary

Good co India seeks a seasoned DevSecOps/Cloud Engineer to design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines across AWS/Azure/GCP. The role integrates security into the SDLC, manages IaC with Terraform/CloudFormation, and ensures container security with Docker and Kubernetes.

You will automate provisioning, monitor security events, and collaborate across teams to improve posture. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in DevOps/DevSecOps or SRE, hands-on cloud experience, and strong scripting

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate security practices and automated security testing into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
• Deploy, manage, and secure containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement vulnerability scanning, SAST, DAST, SCA, and container security solutions.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and security compliance.
• Monitor infrastructure, applications, and security events using logging and monitoring tools.
• Manage identity and access controls, secrets management, and security policies.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to remediate vulnerabilities and improve security posture.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, CIS Benchmarks).
• Troubleshoot production issues and support incident response activities.
• Continuously improve DevSecOps processes through automation and innovation.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
• Hands‑on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with security tools including SAST, DAST, SCA, vulnerability management, and container security.
• Good understanding of Linux administration, networking, IAM, and secrets management.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk.
• Relevant certifications (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, Security+, CKA, CKS, CISSP) are an advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in Agile/DevOps environments and drive automation and security best practices.
