DevSecOps Engineer

The successful candidate will join our dedicated team to help grow our portfolio and customer base, with ample opportunities to grow your career. The candidate will be part of Toppan SSS Architecture Team involved in the delivery of our Solutions including:

• Robotics and Automation Solutions
• Personnel Access Control Systems
• Vehicle Access Control Systems
• Automated Border Control Systems

Key Responsibilities

CI/CD Pipeline Management

• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Ultimate to automate build, test, and deployment processes across multiple environments (Dev, Staging, Production)
• Integrate QA tools such as Selenium and Apache JMeter into CI/CD workflows
• Configure container registries (e.g. Harbor) and deployment engines (e.g. Fleet, ArgoCD) to streamline releases

Infrastructure Automation & Configuration Management

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for scalable and efficient provisioning
• Automate system configurations and deployments using Ansible

Security & Compliance

• Integrate security testing (SAST & DAST) into CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure software development
• Implement container and dependency scanning for vulnerability detection
• Maintain compliance with industry best practices for infrastructure security

Monitoring & Incident Management

• Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting systems using tools like Splunk and EG
• Integrate observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or ELK Stack
• Proactively identify and resolve performance and availability issues

Infrastructure Development & Optimization

• Design, implement, and manage secure and scalable infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments
• Leverage Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and microservices orchestration
• Analyse system performance metrics to optimize costs without compromising performance

Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with development teams and QA teams to align infrastructure with application needs
• Provide support for development and staging environments to ensure smooth testing and deployment cycles

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, DevSecOps, or similar role
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Experience with Rancher Prime and K3s is highly advantageous
• Prior experience as a software developer with knowledge of code QC is highly advantageous

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in GitLab Ultimate CI/CD pipeline management
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation
• Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management
• Familiarity with Splunk for logging and monitoring
• Scripting ability in Bash for automation tasks
• Understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures

Preferred Certifications

• Kubernetes certifications (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS))
• GitLab certifications (e.g. GitLab Certified CI/CD Associate, GitLab Certified Security Specialist)
• DevOps/Site Reliability certifications from the Linux Foundation (e.g. Certified GitOps Associate (CGOA)) are also acceptable but GitLab certifications are still preferred
• HashiCorp Infrastructure Automation Certifications (e.g. Terraform Associate, Terraform Authoring and Operations Professional)
• Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform Certifications
• Cloud DevOps certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
