Job summary

Hong Kong Unison Limited is seeking a DevOps/Test Automation Engineer with 8+ years of experience, including 4+ years in banking on data platform DevOps or data test automation. The role focuses on building robust CI/CD for data platforms, implementing governance, and ensuring reliable data pipelines across multiple environments.

The candidate will work with Teradata, Spark, Qlik, APIs and AI components, plus DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Airflow and more.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps/test automation on data platforms.
• 4+ years in banking environments.

Responsibilities

• CI/CD for data platforms across Teradata, Spark, Qlik, APIs and AI components.
• Release governance with approval workflows and deployment audit trails.
• Environment promotion across DEV, SIT, UAT and production.
• Automated data regression across pipelines, interfaces, reports and dashboards.
• Compare outputs across environments, releases, backups and processing layers.
• Monitoring and alerting for pipelines; scheduling and change integration.

Job description

We are looking for DevOps/Test Automation Engineer with 8+ years, including 4+ in banking on data platform DevOps or data test automation.

Must-have skills

Banking and controls

• Change management and segregation-of-duties controls in banks.
• Release governance with approval workflows and deployment audit trails.

DevOps

• CI/CD for data platforms (Teradata, Spark, Qlik, APIs and AI components), not only application code.
• Git (Bitbucket, GitLab or GitHub), Jenkins, Azure DevOps or GitLab CI, and Ansible.
• Kubernetes, Airflow and GitOps (Argo CD or Flux).
• Environment promotion and release management across DEV, SIT, UAT and production.
• Automated data regression across pipelines, interfaces, reports and dashboards.
• Comparing outputs across environments, releases, backups and processing layers.
• Great Expectations, dbt tests, pytest and SQL comparison frameworks; Jira, Xray or ALM.

Operations

• Control-M or Autosys scheduling; ServiceNow change integration.
• Pipeline monitoring, logging and alerting.

Good-to-have skills

• Testing AI outputs and running evaluation sets in CI/CD.
• Teradata and Hadoop deployment tooling.

Certifications (preferred): CKA or CKAD; Azure DevOps Engineer Expert; ISTQB.
