Job description

Responsibilities

1. As DevSecOps subject matter expert to lead design, develop and implement scalable and reliable platform, tools and infrastructure solutions.
2. Engage with software engineers and developers to understand their requirement and provide SME guidance on engineering design.
3. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and security.
4. Propose innovative solutions and deployment approach for rollout of newly developed or refresh applications, with an emphasis on fostering agility, enhancing security and improving operational efficiency.
5. The DevOps Engineer will provide operational oversight to the operation team, ensuring that the platform is properly managed in accordance with stringent security requirements, best practices and meeting user expectations.
6. Oversee and maintain CI/CD platforms, application server platforms, container management platform, and identity-based secrets and encryption management platform.
7. Administer and operate the continuous monitoring platform to consistently evaluate and swiftly detect potential failures in the performance of our platforms and applications.
8. Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
9. Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
10. Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

1. Experience in leading design, develop and implement scalable and reliable platform, tools and/or infrastructure solutions.
2. Experience handling high level programming in scripting languages such as Groovy, JavaScript and Python.
3. Excellent Jenkins pipeline development skills or equivalent.
4. Excellent Linux administration and bash programming skills.
5. Proven track records of managing CI/CD pipelines and operations.
6. Hands on experience with release management and application deployment
7. Experience with DevSecOps centric technologies such as Kubernetes, repository management, container deployment, platform and application monitoring, git, DevSecOps, Test automation
8. Experience with cloud provisioning and deployment.
9. Experience with full stack web application development.
10. Familiar with Java/.NET development and ecosystem.
