You will lead the DevOps/Cloud Engineering team, design Azure-based infrastructure with Terraform, and advance CI/CD pipelines while shaping architectural direction and security. The role requires 7+ years in DevOps or platform engineering, strong Azure expertise, and proven leadership in regulated environments.

We are seeking a hands-on DevOps / Cloud Platform Lead to drive cloud infrastructure engineering, automation, and delivery excellence. This role requires a strong technical leader who can improve team performance, accelerate delivery, and provide architectural direction while remaining actively involved in engineering.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a DevOps / Cloud Engineering team, setting clear priorities, driving execution, improving team performance, and accelerating delivery.
• Design, build, and optimize Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) to ensure scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines, streamlining infrastructure provisioning, deployment automation, and release processes.
• Provide Azure solution architecture guidance, advising engineering teams on cloud service selection, infrastructure design, networking, security, and application deployment.
• Establish cloud engineering standards and best practices across Azure core services, identity and access management, networking, security, and monitoring.
• Drive DevSecOps practices by integrating security controls, vulnerability scanning, and compliance requirements into infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to align technical priorities, remove delivery bottlenecks, and improve overall engineering productivity.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or related fields, with strong hands‑on expertise in Microsoft Azure.
• Proven team leadership and delivery management experience, with demonstrated success in improving execution speed, engineering productivity, and team performance.
• Experience working in financial services or related regulated environments.
• Strong expertise in Terraform, IaC, and CI/CD automation, including reusable infrastructure modules and multi‑environment management.
• Solid understanding of Azure networking, core cloud services, identity and access management, and infrastructure security.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, automated security scanning, infrastructure monitoring, and production reliability.
• A proactive, hands‑on leadership style with strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and stakeholder management skills.
