Job summary

NCS Group in Singapore is seeking a Junior Azure Cloud Engineer to support design, deployment and operation of cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. You will assist in deploying applications on AKS, configuring networking, and ensuring reliability and security of cloud services.

You should have hands-on Azure experience, familiarity with containerised applications and basic cloud networking knowledge. This role offers growth in a dynamic AI tech services environment.

Qualifications

• Basic experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with AKS or any container orchestrator.
• Understanding of Docker containers and how to build and manage them.
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes concepts: Pods, Services, Deployments, StatefulSets, ConfigMaps.
• Experience deploying applications in container environments.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Subnets, Routing, Firewall rules).
• Soft skills: troubleshooting, collaboration and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in provisioning and maintaining cloud resources on Microsoft Azure.
• Support the setup and configuration of services such as Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Azure Storage, ACR, and Azure SQL/Managed databases.
• Monitor system health and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues.
• Assist in managing AKS clusters and deploying containerised applications using Kubernetes manifests and Helm charts.

We are seeking a Junior Azure Cloud Engineer to support the design, implementation, and operation of cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. The candidate will assist in deploying applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), configuring networking, and maintaining cloud services to ensure reliability, security, and scalability.

This role is ideal for engineers with hands‑on Azure experience, familiarity with containerised applications, and basic cloud networking knowledge.

Responsibilities | CORE

Cloud Infrastructure

• Assist in provisioning and maintaining cloud resources on Microsoft Azure.
• Support the setup and configuration of services such as:
• Virtual Machines
• Virtual Networks
• Azure Storage
• Azure Container Registry (ACR)
• Azure SQL / Managed databases
• Monitor system health and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues.

Kubernetes & Container Platforms

• Assist in managing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.
• Deploy containerised applications using: -Kubernetes manifests
• Helm charts
• Support container image workflows including:
• Build
• Push to container registry
• Deployment updates
• Troubleshoot pod, service, and ingress related issues.

Qualifications

• Basic experience with Microsoft Azure
• Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or any container orchestrator platform
• Understanding of Docker containers and how to build, create and manage containers
