Job Description

As a DevOps & Enterprise Architect Assistant Intern in the NCS Corporate Information Systems team, you will gain hands‑on experience in cloud technologies, DevOps, AI, and enterprise architecture while contributing to projects used by employees across NCS.

You will work alongside experienced engineers, DevOps specialists, and Enterprise Architects to develop internal applications, automate processes, improve cloud infrastructure, and support enterprise technology initiatives. Throughout the internship, you'll gain practical exposure to modern software development, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Azure, AI technologies, and enterprise architecture in a real production environment

What You'll Do:

Depending on project needs, you may be involved in the following areas:

AI Application Development

• Support the development and testing of AI-powered internal applications using Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Assist in designing AI workflows that automate business processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Test AI solutions and recommend improvements based on user feedback.

DevOps & Cloud Engineering

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Support application deployments on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Assist with infrastructure automation and deployment processes.
• Monitor deployment pipelines and troubleshoot build or deployment issues.

Cloud Operations & System Support

• Perform routine system health checks and monitor cloud infrastructure.
• Review application logs and alerts to identify operational issues.
• Support incident investigation and service recovery activities.
• Assist in improving system reliability and operational efficiency.

Enterprise Architecture

• Create and maintain architecture diagrams, system documentation, and technical workflows.
• Assist Enterprise Architects in documenting application integrations, system designs, and technology roadmaps.
• Participate in architecture discussions and design reviews.

Agentic AI & Automation

• Support the design and development of AI agents for internal business processes.
• Document AI workflows, decision logic, and system interactions.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes.

Documentation & Knowledge Management

• Prepare technical documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), runbooks, and configuration guides.
• Maintain documentation to support knowledge sharing and operational continuity.

Project Collaboration

• Work closely with developers, DevOps engineers, Enterprise Architects, cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, project meetings, sprint reviews, and planning sessions.
• Assist with requirements gathering and solution discussions.

Continuous Learning

• Explore emerging cloud, DevOps, and AI technologies.
• Participate in internal learning sessions and technical workshops.
• Contribute ideas to improve internal systems and engineering processes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C# and .NET Core: Solid understanding and experience developing applications using C# and the .NET Core framework
• Version Control with Git: Hands‑on experience using Git for source code management, including branching, merging, pull requests, and collaborative development workflows
• CI/CD Pipeline Knowledge: Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) concepts and practices, including automated build processes, deployment pipelines, and DevOps principles
• Understanding of cloud‑based application development, particularly with Azure cloud services
• Basic knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and backend development concepts
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Adaptable to change and comfortable working in dynamic, fast‑paced environments
• Attention to detail and commitment to writing clean, maintainable, well‑documented code
