Role Responsibilities

As a DevOps Engineer Specialist, your focus will be on facilitating teamwork between software development and IT operations teams to streamline software delivery and infrastructure changes. Your key responsibilities include process automation, infrastructure management through code, and establishing continuous integration and deployment pipelines. Essential skills include automation tools, cloud services, software development practices, and system administration techniques to ensure efficient and reliable operation of modern IT environments.

You will work closely with colleagues in Mumbai and other Nasdaq teams globally.

We expect you to have (Minimum Qualifications):

• At least 5 years of experience as a DevOps engineer
• Experience with AWS
• Terraform expertise
• CI/CD pipeline experience
• Containers expertise (Docker and Kubernetes)
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Kotlin, Python, etc.
• Proficiency with Linux commands and utilities, including Bash scripting
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for learning new technologies and industry trends
• Creativity and innovation in solution creation
• Attention to detail and quality assurance
• Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic environment
• Curiosity about the financial industry

Education Qualification:

Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SaaS experience
• Understanding of Data Lakes and Data Warehousing
• Familiarity with big data tools and technologies
• Knowledge of SQL, Kotlin, RESTful APIs, and Spring
