    Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and versatile DevOps Engineer to take ownership of our production infrastructure, deployments, and system reliability. This role requires a proactive professional who can automate deployments, monitor system health, and ensure our React (frontend) and FastAPI (backend) applications run seamlessly in production. You will play a critical role in improving our CI/CD pipelines, maintaining system uptime, and supporting the team to deliver a stable, secure, and scalable product.Key Responsibilities CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for our React frontend and FastAPI backend. Automate builds, testing, and deployments across development, staging, and production environments. Infrastructure Management: Manage and monitor AWS infrastructure, including S3, EC2, EKS, RDS, and CloudFront. Optimize resource utilization and ensure infrastructure scalability and reliability. System Monitoring and Reliability: Set up monitoring tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana) to track uptime, performance, and system health. Respond to production issues and incidents promptly and ensure quick recovery. Implement automated alerts to detect and resolve issues proactively. Security and Best Practices: Ensure secure access management (AWS IAM, roles, permissions) and API endpoint security. Perform routine security checks to identify vulnerabilities. Deployment Automation: Automate deployment workflows using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions. Ensure zero-downtime deployments for updates and new releases. Production Support: Collaborate with the backend, frontend, and support teams to resolve production bugs or user-reported issues. Create and maintain documentation for production processes, monitoring, and incident resolution.Required Skills and Qualifications 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Production Support, or System Engineering. Strong experience with AWS services (S3, EC2, RDS, EKS, CloudFront). Proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline). Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration. Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or AWS CloudWatch. Understanding of React frontend deployments and FastAPI backend setups. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or YAML. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Preferred Skills Experience with log management tools like ELK Stack, Fluentd, or Datadog. Familiarity with security best practices (IAM, network security, endpoint protection). Understanding of automated testing and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
