Job summary

Brixio Singapore is looking for a DevOps Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure (APAC). Location: Singapore (on-site). You will manage and optimize cloud platforms across APAC, with a focus on China, ensuring reliability, security by design, and cost efficiency.

The role requires hands-on experience with CI/CD, IaC, containers, and cloud services across Azure, GCP, and Alibaba Cloud, plus fluent English and Mandarin to collaborate with vendors and teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on DevOps experience in the Public Cloud.
• Understanding of server fundamentals, virtualization, storage, and network protocols.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (Jenkins, GitOps).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform).
• Familiarity with containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
• Exposure to Azure, GCP, and Alibaba Cloud.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin for effective communication with China vendors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure for APAC, with focus on China.
• Assist in migrating on-premises servers to the Cloud.
• Collaborate with the APAC Cloud Infrastructure Manager to ensure security by design.
• Automate and optimize OPEX costs on the Cloud.
• Maintain guidelines and SOPs for infrastructure in APAC; define IT infra strategy.
• Address cybersecurity, privacy, and data protection incidents with helpdesk and global teams.
• Design and implement SecDevOps processes and automation solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry trends and introduce innovative infrastructure solutions.
