Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Singapore to design and automate software delivery pipelines. The role involves collaborating across development, operations and security teams, implementing IaC, and managing containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes.

You will optimize DevOps workflows, monitor systems, and provide guidance to engineers, helping improve time-to-market while ensuring reliable deployments in a cloud-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Proven DevOps experience and understanding of SDLC and DevOps principles.
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD.
• Proficiency in scripting: Bash, Python, or JavaScript.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration.
• Strong troubleshooting and automation focus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development, operations, and quality teams to implement DevOps best practices.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery across multiple apps.
• Configure and maintain IaC using Terraform.
• Manage containerized environments with Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes.
• Implement monitoring dashboards and logging solutions with meaningful alerts.
• Continuously optimize DevOps workflows to improve productivity and time-to-market.
• Provide technical guidance to development teams on DevOps tools and practices.
• Collaborate with security teams to maintain best practices for secure deployments.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support production incidents.
