Job summary

QUESS SINGAPORE is seeking a DevOps Engineer to enhance and maintain Java-based enterprise workflow applications. You will design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automate build/test/deploy processes, and integrate IaC for provisioning and managing resources.

The role also involves managing cloud and on-premise infrastructure, monitoring uptime, and ensuring security compliance. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in DevOps, strong scripting skills, experience with cloud platforms

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is required.
2+ years of experience in DevOps engineering is required.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Artifactory, Sonar, Veracode, JIRA, Confluence).
Experience with continuous testing tools (JUnit, SonarCube, Veracode).
Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization/orchestration.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, Ruby, PowerShell, Groovy).
Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
Familiarity with AI/LLM-related concepts and tools.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with development teams to enhance and maintain Java-based enterprise workflow applications.
Implement and optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across environments.
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment.
Automate build, test, deployment, and monitoring processes.
Integrate infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions for provisioning and managing resources.
Configure SSO, SSL, Load Balancer, Auto Scaling and DNS for the DevOps Toolset.
Manage cloud-based and on-premise infrastructure supporting enterprise workflow applications.
Monitor systems for uptime, performance, and security.
Document processes, tools, and system configurations.
Advocate for best practices in DevOps, automation, and lifecycle management.
