Job summary

QUESSCORP SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a DevOps Engineer to drive development, deployment, and operations of Java-based enterprise workflow applications across cloud and on‑premise environments.

You will build CI/CD pipelines, automate builds and testing, manage IaC with Terraform/Ansible, and ensure security and compliance. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms, plus strong scripting and monitoring skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in DevOps engineering.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Bitbucket, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Artifactory, Sonar, Veracode.
• Experience with CI/CD automation, testing, and monitoring.
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, Ruby, PowerShell, Groovy).
• Containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk.
• Knowledge of Agile and DevOps principles.

Responsibilities

• Monitor systems for uptime, performance, and security.
• Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Document processes, tools, and system configurations.
• Advocate for best practices in DevOps, automation, and application lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement secure coding practices and conduct regular vulnerability assessments.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in DevOps engineering.
• Deep technical background with hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Artifactory, Sonar, Veracode, JIRA and Confluence).
• Experience with continuous testing, techniques and tools (Junit, Sonar Cube, Veracode etc.)
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Ruby, PowerShell, Groovy).
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
• AI/LLM (Generative AI, LLM Engineering)
• Familiarity with workflow automation tools and enterprise workflow management systems.
• Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps principles.
