Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled DevOps or Deployment Specialist with strong expertise in cPanel to deploy a MERN stack (MySQL, Express.js, React, Next.js, Node.js) project on a cPanel web server. The role involves configuring cPanel, deploying the project, setting up an automated CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions, and providing ongoing maintenance.

Responsibilities:

1. Deploy a MERN stack project on a cPanel web server, including:
   1. Configuring Node.js applications using cPanel's Setup Node.js App module.
   2. Deploying React & Next.js frontend (build folder) to public_html or a subdomain.
   3. Managing MySQL databases (creating databases, users, privileges).
2. Configure cPanel on the server, including:
   1. SSH access, user accounts, security settings.
   2. SSL/TLS certificates using cPanel's Let's Encrypt or SSL/TLS tools.
   3. File permissions, domains/subdomains, environment variables (.env).
   4. Optimize cPanel settings for performance and security (e.g., gzip compression).
3. Build an automated CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions to:
   1. Build and deploy frontend and backend to cPanel.
   2. Automate MySQL migrations (if applicable).
   3. Restart Node.js app with PM2.
   4. Troubleshoot deployment issues.
   5. Document the deployment and CI/CD process.
4. Provide ongoing support for project updates and maintenance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 1+ years experience deploying applications on cPanel, with strong management skills.
• Proven expertise in cPanel server configuration, including SSH, SSL/TLS, security.
• Experience deploying Node.js applications on cPanel.
• Proficiency in MySQL management within cPanel.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Knowledge of PM2, SSH, environment variables.
• Basic understanding of MERN stack deployment requirements.

Soft Skills:

• Problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Clear documentation skills.
• Time management and flexibility for part-time work.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with database migration tools like Knex or Sequelize.
• Experience with cPanel hosting providers.
• Knowledge of server optimization techniques.

Minimum Requirements:
