Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS to be part of their team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high availability and performance of our systems. If you're passionate about automation, cloud technologies, and system reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS-based infrastructure using best practices

• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK

• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)

• Monitor system performance and reliability; respond to incidents and outages

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration processes

• Implement security best practices for cloud infrastructure

• Manage logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana)

• Optimize cost, performance, and scalability of infrastructure resources

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability, or Cloud Engineering role

• Deep experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and related services (EC2, RDS, S3, ECS/EKS, IAM, Lambda, etc.)

• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred)

• Solid scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python)

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools

• Strong understanding of networking, security, and system administration

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
