Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced DevOps/Integration Engineer to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and troubleshoot release issues. You will work across environments, optimize build and release processes, and collaborate with IT and business teams in a fintech context.

Experience with Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, and scripting is essential. Knowledge of WAS Admin and core banking systems is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Integration/DevOps experience in fintech or investment banking.
• 3+ years of Core Banking domain exposure.
• Unix scripting, Jenkins, GitLab, WAS Admin with 4+ years of hands-on experience.
• COBOL, MySQL, Jira knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and manage CI/CD pipelines across environments.
• Lead DevOps activities and implement solutions across orgs.
• Troubleshoot release, deployment, and environment issues.

Job description

Role & Responsibilities

• Well versed in GitLab and Jenkins frame work for Packaging and Deployment.
• Should be able to debug release and deployment issues (Merge conflicts, Jenkins jobs, etc).
• Troubleshoot and investigate environment availability and performance issues.
• Able to automate dashboard reports, providing system status for Non Prod environments.
• Excellent knowledge of Git flow and branching strategies
• Good inter-team collaboration skills for BAU and project initiatives.
• Experience with ability to lead DevOps Activities and Implementations effectively across organizations and engagements.
• Design, build and maintain the CI/CD infrastructure and tools
• Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD process using tools like SVN, Git, Jenkins, Maven, Docker,Kubernetes and Ansible with Python.
• Experienced in creation, integration and administration of CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, Nexus.
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery with Git, Nexus, Jenkins and XL Deploy and comfortable in maintaining and enhancing the code.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure for the WAS, MQ, Tomcat, JBoss, IHS Application servers and Webservers.
• Hands-on Experience with UNIX environment mainly Linux along with windows OS.
• Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
• Experience with Docker containerization and clustering (Kubernetes)
• Communication with users to gather DevOps requirements and analyse/address issues

Technical Skills:

• 7 plus Years of Relevant experience as an Integration Engineer / DevOps Engineer within investment banking / fintech sector ideally
• 3 plus years of Core Banking experience
• Unix Scripting, Jenkins, GitLab, WAS Admin should have working experience for at least 4 plus years
• Good to to have technical skills COBOL, MySQL, Jira
