Job description

Location: Singapore, Singapore

Roles & Responsibilities:

The candidate will:

Maintain the technical solutions for applications deployment and maintenance
  • Ensure products are correctly and continuously integrated and deployed in quality assurance, UAT, production, and DR environments, respecting established rules.
  • Support software teams with behavior testing, automated testing, and debugging across various environments.
  • Assist service teams with tools and custom scripts for application maintenance.
Secure the product operability
  • Understand the functional context of the product and challenge functional decisions when necessary.
  • Continuously evaluate the system to ensure the product remains state of the art.
  • Implement operational best practices such as supervision/monitoring, backups, archives, and log management.
  • Meet SLAs during deployment of new versions and hotfixes.
  • Keep the software team informed of operational constraints.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
System skillset :
  • Basic system administration (services, ssh, OS packages management, etc).
DevOps tooling advanced skillset :
  • At least 3 years of experience with Containerization and Kubernetes On-Prem.
  • Experience with ArgoCD, Helm, Ansible Playbooks, Shell, Bash, CMD, Powershell, Jira, and Gitlab.
Infrastructure as code :
  • Automated configuration using Ansible.
Network basics :
  • Experience with NGINX, HAproxy, network commands, LAN architecture, DNS, SSL, and firewall access.
Security :
  • Secrets management, TLS/mTLS, SSH administration, and encryption basics.
Good-to-have Skills:
  • Advanced system administration, hypervisor experience, and Kubernetes Service Mesh knowledge.
Build for the Run:
  • Monitoring, alerting, log management, Kafka, and Kibana dashboard creation skills.
Other useful skills:
  • Understanding of technical architecture, database administration, Agile methodologies, and programming in Java or .Net.
Behaviour:
  • Innovative design skills, excellent communication, and collaborative teamwork.
