Job summary

A leading technology firm in Singapore is seeking a DevOps Engineer (Cloud) to support the design, deployment, and operations of scalable, secure platforms for urban transport systems. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of experience in DevOps, strong skills in CI/CD tools and cloud platforms, and expertise in containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Qualifications

• Minimum 3–7 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Proficiency in scripting/programming (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred).
• Knowledge of system architecture, networking, and security principles.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent.

About the Role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer (Cloud) to support the design, deployment, and operations of scalable, secure, and highly available platforms powering mission-critical urban transport systems. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team driving digital transformation across rail and public transport infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous integration and delivery of applications across rail and bus system platforms
• Build and manage cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience in GCC is preferred
• Deploy and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
• Collaborate with software, systems, and cybersecurity teams to ensure seamless system integration and delivery
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and operational visibility
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and regulatory standards for critical infrastructure systems
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and cost efficiency in cloud environments
