Job summary

NCS is seeking a DevOps & Automation Engineer in Singapore to develop automation playbooks, runbooks, and cookbooks for IT Managed Services. You will automate production tasks, ensure high availability of the automation platform, and oversee day-to-day automation operations.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, Chef, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC across platforms, plus strong Linux/Unix/Windows administration and scripting skills.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, and Chef platform setup and management.
• Code versioning, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• DevOps platform setup and CI/CD pipeline deployment.
• End-to-end implementation of IaC in managed services projects.
• Strong administration of Linux/Unix/Windows systems.
• Experience with automation/configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef, or Ansible).
• Certifications in DevOps or automation tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Automation Development & Implementation: Understand automation concepts for day-to-day service delivery and operations.
• Platform & Infrastructure Management: Integrate automation with external tools and ensure ITSM integration.
• Service Delivery & Operational Efficiency: Drive continuous improvements through automation development.
