A leading tech staffing firm is seeking a Development Technician in Singapore. The role involves supporting engineers in new product development, coordinating new equipment processes, and contributing to process improvements. Candidates should have a diploma in engineering and at least 2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry. Willingness to work in a cleanroom and on rotating shifts is essential.

Overview

Job Title: Development Technician

Type: Contract

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Bedok, Singapore

Work Hours: 8pm-8am or 8am-8pm

Shift: Rotational - 4 Days work, 3 Days off

Responsibilities

• To support development engineer on the new product development samples which included sample input, new product recipe setup and perform design of experiment.
• To support on the engineering samples build particularly on the singulation process.
• To coordinate the start-up of new equipment processes which involves process characterization and development
• Assist Development Engineers with data collection, inspection and calculations. Assist with proposal on process improvements during development.
• Assist engineering in short term problem solving and long-term continuous improvement for yield improvement and cost saving project.
• Perform other duties as and when required. Comply with all company policies including safety policies and practices.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Higher Nitec / Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Material Science), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
• Prefer to have minimum 2 years of working experience in manufacturing environment, preferably in wafer foundry, electronics or Semiconductor industry, especially have experience on using DISCO dicer tool.
• Meticulous, enthusiastic, multi-tasking and sense of urgency and able to work under pressure, good attendance.
• Willing to work in cleanroom environment and on rotating shift
