Role Summary

You will be the technical cornerstone of SwiftX’s product and project teams—owning architecture, guiding engineers, and spearheading R&D initiatives that keep us ahead of the curve. You’ll balance hands-on coding with team leadership to deliver high-quality software and champion a culture of continuous innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Define system architecture and select technologies for new & existing products
• Write, review, and approve critical code (≈30–40 % hands-on)
• Own code quality, security, performance, and DevOps pipelines
• Mentor and grow a cross-functional team of 4–8 engineers (front-end, back-end, DevOps)
• Lead Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Translate product vision and client requirements into actionable technical roadmaps
• Oversee CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code in AWS/Azure
  

Qualifications

• 5 years professional software development experience, with at least 3 years in a lead/architect role
• Proven track record delivering cloud-native applications using TypeScript/JavaScript (React), Python or .NET, and microservice architectures
• Deep understanding of modern DevOps: Docker/K8s, CI/CD (GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps), infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CDK) would be an advantage
• Solid grasp of relational databases, caching, messaging (MS SQL and PostgreSQL etc.)
• Demonstrated leadership—mentoring engineers, running Agile teams, and making architectural trade-offs under pressure
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional and client-facing discussions
• Singapore work authorization (full-time, hybrid arrangement)

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with OpenText Extended ECM, document-management workflows, or government tender projects
• Hands-on with LLMs, vector databases, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) patterns
• Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer, or equivalent would be advantageous
