Job summary

Bushiroad International PTE. LTD. is seeking a bilingual professional to balance localisation and project management for card game products. You will schedule development and production, and liaise with Japanese partners.

Translate and localize products from Japanese to English, proofread text and designs, and support events. Weekend work or travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in any field.
• Fluent English and Japanese with JLPT N3 minimum.
• Strong scheduling and multi-tasking abilities.
• Attention to detail; meticulous in localisation.
• Interest in games or anime.
• Willing to travel overseas when required and work some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Localise card game products: 30% localisation, 70% PM.
• Schedule and oversee development and production.
• Liaise with Japanese companies for development and production.
• Translate and localize from Japanese to English.
• Proofread localized text and product designs.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours

Job Description

• 30% localisation, 70% project management

• Translate and localize products from Japanese to English
• Proofread localized text and product designs

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in any field
• Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese, both written and oral, in order to liaise with Japanese speaking associates daily and for localisation (Minimum JLPT N3 competency required)
• Meticulous and attentive to details
• Excellent at schedule management and multi-tasking
• Have some knowledge in games or anime
• Adept at working both independently and in a team
• Effective decision-making skills and strong problem-solving skills
• Sensitive to cultural and linguistic nuances
• Open to work on some weekends/public holidays for Company events
• Open to travel overseas for business trips when required

Good to Have

• Experience in playing Bushiroad’s trading card games (TCGs) will be a bonus
