Job Level: 6 – 9 years of relevant Experience (L3)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain AS400 program according to business user’s requirement. AS400(IBM iSeries), RPGLE/AS400, CLP/400, CLLE/400 programming language, AS400/Query, SQL and IBM MQ experience is essential to perform task efficiency.
- Be responsible for understanding requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Be responsible for unit testing, debugging, performance testing, support full project SDLC, documentation, code review and troubleshooting.
- Be accountable for on-time delivery of all documentations, design, build, testing, and deployment according to the work breakdown structures.
- Work with production support teams as required to support production activities, including production migrations, continuity testing, environment migration activities.
- When necessary, you will escalate critical technical issues and potential problems as needed to the Application Lead, Project Manager to address any related issues in advance of deadlines.
- To work on toolset (ALDON, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Veracode, JIRA and Confluence, ARCAD).
- To track project status progress and follow up with respective parties for updates.
- To provide weekly project progress reports and meeting minutes writing.
Key Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- At least 6 years’ relevant experience, preferably in a Finance Institution.
Essential:
- You must be the experienced developer, with good experience in system integration/interfacing.
- You will typically be assigned to work on specific projects and is expected to support the Application Delivery.
- Manage in all relevant technical matters, end-to-end, within the project.
- Depending on the project, your duties may include coding, scripting, building new systems (where necessary) and interfaces. For new system build-up, you may need to environment support during SIT/UAT.
- You are expected to ensure your work are adequately documented and transferred to the production team post-cutover.
- You will be expected to work with the vendor, tech lead and system architect in deliver solution will need to satisfy all security, regulatory and architectural standards.
Technical Skills
- Strong RPGLE/400, CLLE and MQ understanding and at least 6 years’ implementation experience.
- Good understanding of IT security and experience in design and development cash management module.
- Be independent, a quick learner and good team player.
- You can work independently with minimum guidance.
- Have good communication skills to work with various stakeholders and colleagues.
- Payment system experience will be advantages.
- Have experience in all stages of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Comfortable working in a challenging environment.
