Desktop Support Engineer - Singapore

As a Desktop Support Engineer at ESP Global Services in Singapore, you’ll play a vital role in delivering top-tier technical support, solving complex issues, and ensuring smooth operations for our clients. You’ll be the go-to expert for troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity problems, and you’ll have the chance to get hands-on with cutting-edge technologies while supporting exciting, project-based business needs.
What You'll Do:
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues with precision, all while adhering to security compliance and warranty standards.
  • Hands-On Support: Get your hands dirty—install, troubleshoot, and repair desktops, laptops, printers, and other essential peripherals.
  • Smart Hands Support: Assist with network hardware and other physical tasks, including routers, firewalls, switches, and more, following expert instructions to keep systems running smoothly.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Respond to incidents and service requests, delivering fast, efficient solutions to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Deploy and Maintain: Help with software and OS deployments (using MSCM, WDS, MDM tools) and ensure desktop devices are fully supported and regularly updated.
What You'll Bring to ESP:
  • 2-5 years of IT field support experience, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and OS issues.
  • Proven expertise in desk-side support and PC break/fix with basic Windows OS administration skills.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft desktop software and wireless networking.
  • The ability to thrive under pressure and maintain composure in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong English communication skills—additional languages a plus.
  • Physical readiness: Able to lift or push 20-40 kg of equipment when necessary and stand or kneel for extended periods.
