Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Support Technician to deliver outstanding technical support to end users. The ideal candidate is customer-oriented, technically proficient—especially in Mac support—and passionate about troubleshooting and user training. You will play a vital role in resolving technical issues, educating users, and ensuring optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on Mac support (mandatory requirement).
  • Deliver diagnostic services, including scanning and defragmenting drives.
  • Update antivirus definitions and perform spyware scans.
  • Update system and application drivers regularly.
  • Conduct battery diagnostics and report disk drive status.
  • Perform laptop imaging (Mac and Windows).
  • Troubleshoot system and software issues.
  • Support laptop training and orientation sessions.
  • Upgrade laptops, memory, and smart devices as needed.
  • Recover and manage IT assets (Tech Bar support).
  • Raise user awareness on new services and applications.
  • Perform proactive health checks on user devices.
  • Educate users on available support channels (e.g., chat, self-service).
  • Communicate planned outages or maintenance windows that may affect users.
  • Provide clear verbal and written communication in both primary and secondary assigned languages.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Mac OS support is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in IT support, especially within enterprise environments.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to a dynamic support environment.
