Job description

Our client is seeking a motivated Desktop Support Engineer with hardware expertise. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality support for infrastructure and enterprise hardware solutions. This includes diagnostics, troubleshooting, and on-site service delivery. You’ll be working with industry-leading technologies, supporting clients around the clock, and helping maintain enterprise-grade systems to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide field support based on SLA, including 24/7 standby duties (on a rotational basis)
  2. Deliver post-sales implementation and onsite support for enterprise hardware and infrastructure
  3. Perform break-fix services: system checks, preventive maintenance, hardware replacements, OS-level troubleshooting, and customer incident management
  4. Maintain tidy and organized engineering and platform work areas
  5. Keep weekly activity updates and documentation accurate and timely
  6. Support other tasks or projects as assigned by your supervisor
What We’re Looking For:
  1. Min 1 year of experience in a related hardware support or IT infrastructure role
  2. Diploma or higher in IT or related field
  3. Strong understanding of server systems and troubleshooting methods
  4. Experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Linux/Unix, virtualization, and infrastructure technologies
  5. Self-driven and committed to delivering results in a fast-moving environment
  6. Able to perform system assembly, disassembly, and rack mounting
