Job summary

Triwill Group is seeking a software engineer to own how our desktop AI-assisted platform behaves in production. You will focus on reliability, performance, and real-time responsiveness across macOS and Windows.

You will work with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Electron, and IPC, building cross‑platform features, optimizing startup time and memory usage, and ensuring smooth real-time updates for user collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proven software engineering experience.
• Hands-on with production Electron apps.
• Strong JS/TS proficiency.
• Experience with React or similar UI frameworks.
• Knowledge of desktop app lifecycle.
• Experience with IPC and real-time transport.
• Familiarity with local storage and native OS behaviors.
• Excellent debugging and profiling skills.
• Ability to optimize startup time, memory usage, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Own system behavior on desktop environments focusing on reliability and performance.
• Develop cross-platform Electron applications with responsive UIs.
• Implement desktop-specific features: file access, notifications, auto-updates, deep linking.
• Integrate AI-powered features via backend APIs and ensure real-time updates.
• Profile and reduce Electron overhead and manage large local state.
