Mission of the Position
As a Desktop and Hardware Systems Administrator, your mission is to ensure the smooth daily operation of Aureus’ IT infrastructure, from employee devices to outlet-based hardware systems. You will oversee provisioning, troubleshooting, and asset management, while maintaining core systems such as Microsoft 365 and Intune MDM. Your contributions will ensure a seamless tech experience across the organization, supporting efficiency and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Provision, troubleshoot, and decommission employee laptops and related work devices.
Maintain and resolve issues across outlet-based IT hardware (e.g., digital signage, iPad POS, CCTV systems).
Maintain comprehensive documentation and tracking systems for IT assets.
Administer and support Microsoft 365 tenant and Intune MDM systems.
Act as the point-of-contact for hardware vendors and service providers.
Implement device-level security protocols and configuration standards.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of hardware-related issues.
Hiring Criteria
Prior experience in IT administration, systems support, or related roles is essential.
Proven track record maintaining Intune MDM and implementing security restrictions for work devices.
Strong working knowledge of Azure Active Directory.
Proficient in scripting for both Windows and MacOS environments.
Experience configuring and supporting Shopify POS systems is a plus.
Ability to troubleshoot unique or obscure systems such as CCTVs and attendance tracking hardware.
Excellent problem-solving skills and logical thinking.
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently or in a team.
Strong communication and vendor management abilities.
