A staffing agency in Singapore is seeking a Technical Support Specialist for a 3-month contract. The role involves diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, providing guidance to end-users, and maintaining IT infrastructure. Ideal candidates will have strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities. There is an option to extend the contract monthly for another 3 months.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues for end-users.
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining desktops, laptops, peripherals, and software applications.
  • Performing tasks like system backups, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting on servers and network components.
  • Providing guidance and training to users on hardware and software usage, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting infrastructure issues such as internet connectivity, WIFI, and shared printer setups, all of which are essential services during sales launch.
Requirements
  • Strong technical skills in troubleshooting hardware and software issues on various platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with end-users and collaborating with IT teams.
  • Break-fix, troubleshoot and resolve software issues; Reimaging computers/hard drives.
  • Assist ServiceDesk/Remote Desktop Support teams for hands and feet coordination efforts.
  • CCTV and VPN experience.
Additional
  • This is a 3 months contract with an option to extend monthly got another 3 months.
