OKX Ventures seeks a Mid Level Design System Designer to advance OKDS across Foundation, Components, and Templates + AI Tooling. You’ll shape token architectures, create reusable components, and enable AI-assisted workflows, partnering with engineers for accessible, cross-platform implementations.

You will collaborate with product teams to drive adoption, iterate on design specs, and ensure production-ready output aligned with design-system standards.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering reusable design-system components in a complex digital product environment.
• Strong Figma capability with component properties, variables, modes, libraries, and scalable file organization.
• Ability to explain system decisions to designers, engineers, and product partners; comfortable discussing implementation constraints.

Responsibilities

• Own scoped initiatives across Foundations, Components, or Templates + AI Tooling from research to adoption.
• Develop and maintain foundation standards and token architecture for color, spacing, radius, themes, and platform variation.
• Build reusable template systems and AI-readable guidance; contribute to tooling infrastructure and validation workflows.
• Partner with engineers to ensure design intent, platform behavior, component APIs, and accessibility across Web, iOS, and Android.
• Prototype and improve AI-assisted workflows for template generation, component discovery, and quality review.
• Drive adoption with product teams through consultation and migration support; ensure team alignment.

You will contribute across three connected capability areas: Foundations, including token architecture for color, spacing, and radius; Components, spanning OKDS core components, business components, and AI-ready architecture; and Templates + AI Tooling, covering template systems, AI transformation infrastructure, and pipeline readiness. Your primary assignment may change based on team needs, while you build the breadth to work effectively across all three.
