Job summary

OKX Singapore seeks a design-system focused engineer to advance the OKDS foundations, components, and templates with AI-ready tooling. You will work across Foundations, Components, and Templates + AI Tooling, partnering with engineers and product teams to improve reuse, adoption, and delivery speed.

You’ll contribute Figma-driven standards, token architecture, and accessible component APIs for Web, iOS, and Android, balancing craft with ambiguity and applying human judgment to output.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering reusable design-system components, patterns, or foundations in a complex digital-product environment.
• Strong Figma capability, including component properties, variables, modes, libraries, and scalable file organization.
• Working knowledge across design-system foundations, component architecture, and template systems.

Responsibilities

• Own scoped initiatives across Foundations, Components, or Templates + AI Tooling—from research and reuse validation through specification, release, adoption, and iteration.
• Develop and maintain foundation standards and token architecture for color, spacing, radius, themes, modes, and platform variation, ensuring consistency between Figma and implementation.
• Design and evolve OKDS core components and reusable business components with clear naming, variants, states, metadata, and architecture.
• Build reusable template systems and AI-readable guidance, and contribute to tooling infrastructure and validation workflows that improve AI pipeline readiness.
• Partner closely with engineers to ensure design intent, platform behavior, component APIs, and accessibility requirements across Web, iOS, and Android.
• Prototype and improve AI-assisted workflows for template generation, component discovery, and variant generation with quality review.
• Drive adoption with product teams through consultation, enablement, migration support, and feedback loops.
• Apply quality acceptance criteria covering interaction states, responsive behavior, accessibility, and implementation handoff.
• Plan and deliver work transparently, manage dependencies, and track outcomes like reuse and faster implementation.
