Job summary

CNIM Singapore Private Limited is seeking a Design Manager to lead the engineering and design team, oversee technical submissions, and ensure adherence to Singapore codes. You will coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and suppliers to translate client specs into implementable solutions for lifts, escalators, and moving walks.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive regulatory knowledge, and hands-on CAD/BIM skills, with bilingual communication being an advantage for liaising

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering recognized by PE Board Singapore.
• 6–8 years of technical design experience in Lift & Escalator industry with 2–3 years leadership.
• Strong familiarity with BCA, SCDF, LTA standards and EN 115/EN 81.
• Hands-on CAD/BIM skills and proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall design process for Lifts, Escalators, and Moving Walkways.
• Review and approve architectural, mechanical, electrical drawings and specs.
• Ensure designs comply with Singapore regulations and client requirements.
• Coordinate with PMs, site engineers, factories, and R&D for deliverables.
• Support FAT, T&C, and post-installation technical support.
