Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Design Manager to lead our home decor design team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for interior design, a keen eye for trends, and a deep understanding of design principles, materials, and production processes. You will oversee the creation and development of home decor collections, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with brand vision, market needs, and production capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the Design Process: Manage the end-to-end design process for new home decor products, from concept to execution. Develop mood boards, sketches, color palettes, and prototypes. Oversee design refinement based on feedback.
2. Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of designers. Manage resources, timelines, and workflows to ensure project completion.
3. Collaboration: Work with product development, sourcing, manufacturing, marketing, and sales teams. Communicate with external partners for material sourcing and design finalization.
4. Trend Analysis & Market Research: Stay updated with industry trends, conduct competitor analysis, and use forecasting tools to inform design strategies.
5. Quality Control: Ensure designs meet quality standards, are feasible for production, and align with brand identity.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Interior Design, Fine Arts, or related field. Master's or advanced certification is a plus.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in product design, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, specifically in home decor.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design skills and leadership.
