Design Manager (Facade)

Due to rapid growth, we are seeking an experienced Design Manager cum Team Leader to strengthen our technical team. This is a full-time position, and it is perfect for someone with rich façade design knowledge and passionate about managing roles.

Lindner Facades Asia Pte Ltd (LFA) was successfully re-launched in May 2019, as part of the Lindner Steel & Glass operation. Located in Singapore, LFA will be used as a base to promote and secure projects for LFA and Lindner Group in the vast and promising Asian market.

Our projects will cover the Asian markets, which include India, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam. Enquiries have also been received from Cambodia, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

LFA offers pre-sales consultation and planning advice, design and engineering, project management and planning, fabrication and installation. Employing a team of highly skilled, well-trained and extensive experience when it comes to LFA’s unique selling point in delivering turnkey projects with complex steel and glass, facades, skylights, curtain wall and building envelopes.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Create & develop 3D model either from scratch or existing supplied 2D CAD or PDF drawings.
• Generate & update 3D-based plans, diagrams, sections, elevations and details that can be used as design analysis, tender drawing, drawing for Authority submission, shop drawing, fabrication drawing, or as built drawing.

• Must have sound knowledge in Façade design.
• Experience in Rhino & Grasshopper is a must. Knowledge in BIM software is an added advantage.
• Must be familiar with façade design development and basic knowledge of façade works related fabrication.
• Must have good time management skills.
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
• Must be a team player with a good working attitude.
• 3+ years as a computational Modeller and 5+ years as a façade designer.
