Job summary

Antomation PTE. LTD. in Singapore builds hardware AI solutions. The role focuses on CAD-based hardware design, including mechanisms, grippers, fixtures, and frames, with in-house 3D printing for rapid prototyping.

You will create manufacturing drawings with GD&T, build and test prototypes in our lab, and work alongside software/AI engineers to integrate sensing and control into the device.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Robotics; graduates and ready to start full time.
• Strong CAD skills across major packages; real assembly modeling ability.
• Hands-on instincts; show us a project or something you made.
• Interest in AI; no prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design the hardware in CAD (mechanisms, grippers, fixtures, frames, test rigs).
• 3D print designs in-house and test them the same day.
• Produce manufacturing drawings with tolerances and GD&T.
• Build, test, and revise what you designed in our lab.
• Collaborate with software and AI teams working on the same device.

Job description

Antomation is a hardware AI lab in Singapore. We design the hardware, the software, and the AI models together, to solve problems that have resisted automation for decades. If the machine that solves it does not exist yet, we build it.

This is not integration work and it is not off-the-shelf equipment. Every project starts with a problem nobody has cracked, and ends with a machine that sees, judges, and acts on its own.

Your role

• Design the hardware in CAD (SolidWorks / Onshape): mechanisms, grippers, fixtures, frames, test rigs
• 3D print your designs in-house and test them the same day
• Produce manufacturing drawings with proper tolerances and GD&T
• Build, test, and revise what you designed, in our own lab
• Work next to the people writing the software and training the models that run on your hardware

You will also learn AI

How AI is used in design, how vision and sensor models work inside our machines, and how to build models from scratch: data, training, and getting them running on the device.

We are looking for

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Robotics. Graduated and available to start full time.
• Good CAD skills. SolidWorks, Onshape, Fusion, Creo, Inventor, it does not matter which one you learned. What matters is that you can model a real assembly properly.
• Hands-on instincts. Show us something you made.
• Interest in AI. No experience needed.
