Design Engineer (C&S)

About the role

Surbana Jurong Consultants Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Design Engineer (C&S) to join our dynamic team in Jurong West, West Region. As a full-time Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and engineering of complex civil and structural projects, contributing to the overall success of the company.

What you'll be doing

• Undertaking detailed design and analysis of civil and structural components for a variety of projects

• Preparing construction drawings, specifications, and other technical documentation

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects

• Providing technical support and advice to project managers and clients

• Staying up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices

• Contributing to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in civil and structural design

• Strong technical skills in finite element analysis, structural design, and detailing

• Proficient in the use of CAD software and engineering design tools

• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
